The plural of tooth is teeth.

There are some words that cannot be made plural by adding S to the end but they can be made plural by changing their form.

Why the confusion with the plural of tooth?
There is some difference in the plural structure of the tooth because its plural is not formed by adding S but by changing its inner vowel. There are no specific rules for remembering them. These have to be memorized.
